Island peak is a famous climbing peak in the upper Khumbu region which was named an Island Peak in 1951 by Eric Shipton's group as the peak is seen as an Island when viewed from Imja valley. The wonderful peak was later renamed in 1983 as Imja Tse but the name "Island peak" is more popular and well sought after by everyone. Island Peak Himalayas is positioned in the eastern part of the Imja area an expansion part of Mount Lhotse and the fang of the Lhotse range.

”Breathtaking view throughout the journey" & "Wonderful adventure through Himalayas of Nepal"

Island peak climbing begins from Kathmandu airport to Lukla flight and we climb through the motherland of the Sherpa district. The trail follows many of Sherpa’s forms, the borough with beautiful mere and glaciers in Gokyo. Island peak Nepal (height: 6,189m/20,305 ft) climbing combines the Gokyo trek and Mount Everest Base Camp trek (5,360 meters). The Gokyo RI and Kalapathar are the two-view points for the terrific breathtaking view of numerous mountain peaks including the highest peak in the World, Mt Everest. Following the hike from Everest base camp and Kalapathar we descent to the base camp of Imja peak crossing the Chhukung village, a gateway to the summit of Island peak. We have 2 days to go up the Island peak which includes an additional day if the climate is unfavorable. The climbing is daring but this caters to one of the most artistic mornings that the Himalayan climber could dream of. After the successful ascent to the Island peaks, we will hike down to Lukla then fly back to Kathmandu and the trip terminates with your final departure.

Note: You can also go on a 3 km drive to the place called Pasang Lamhu rock climbing spot for your rock climbing course. Before departing to Lukla, a day course will provide excellent chances to erudite how to use rope, harness, ice ax, and crampons will keep your physical fitness. It will incur an extra charge.
