Trip Itinerary

Welcome to Kathmandu, the vibrant capital city of Nepal and the starting point of your incredible Gokyo 5th Lake Trek! Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), our representative will warmly receive you and facilitate your transfer to a comfortable hotel in Kathmandu. Take this first day to settle in, relax after your journey, and prepare for the adventure ahead. In the afternoon, consider a leisurely stroll through Thamel, Kathmandu's tourist hub, known for its eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, and cultural experiences. In the evening, we'll conduct a detailed pre-trek briefing to discuss the trek, answer your questions, and ensure you're fully prepared for your Himalayan journey. Get ready to experience the magic of Nepal!

A: Hey, no worries! It's definitely a good workout, but you don't need to be a pro athlete. We designed it to build up gradually, and we take rest days to help you get used to the altitude. Plus, you'll have our awesome guides and porters to help you every step of the way. Just get a bit fit beforehand, and you'll be golden!

Good to Know

Please let us know your flight info while booking.
Always ask your physician to make sure you can handle this trek in the Himalayas.
Temperatures are warm and pleasant in the city and cold in the mountains.
You can get Nepal’s Visa on arrival in airport or other entry point of Nepal.
Get Travel insurance and make sure your passport does not expire within 6 months
Bring warm clothes that can be layered and sunglasses to adjust as temperatures vary.
Trekking boots and lightweight poncho or raincoat is recommended.
Take plenty of batteries and Nepalese currency for your personal use.
Flight might get delayed or trip postponed due to bad weather.
For any additional stays in the mountains except the given days, the clients/customers will be liable for the expenses that will occur.
Be aware of the risks of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) and follow recommendations for gradual acclimatization. Be open with your guide if you experience symptoms.
