Trip Overview

Set off on a unique 8-day Kori Trek, an exclusive journey into the heart of the Annapurna region. This adventure, designed for the true explorer, takes you beyond the well-trodden paths, offering a spectacular blend of vibrant Gurung culture and pristine Himalayan wilderness. Your adventure begins in the bustling city of Kathmandu. It leads you to the tranquil lakeside town of Pokhara, the gateway to this magnificent trek. The Kori Trek is an invitation to witness a side of Nepal that remains raw, untouched, and profoundly beautiful, perfect for those seeking an authentic mountain experience.

The Kori Trek is a genuinely remote, off-the-beaten-path trekking route, a world away from the busy trails of more famous destinations. This journey is for those who crave solitude and an unspoiled connection with nature. You will traverse through landscapes seen by very few, from the sprawling, traditional Gurung village of Sikles—one of the largest of its kind—to the breathtaking, turquoise waters of Kapuche Lake, the lowest-altitude glacial lake in Nepal. This path offers an unparalleled sense of discovery, where every step takes you deeper into the Annapurna's best-kept secret.

Your trek progresses through dense rhododendron forests and past rustic herders' huts, building anticipation for the ultimate destination: Kori Danda. From this magnificent viewpoint at 3,800 meters, you will witness a sunrise that transforms the entire Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges into a spectacle of golden light. This 360-degree panoramic view, featuring the iconic Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peak up close, is the crowning moment of your adventure. The journey back completes a loop that guarantees new sights, leaving you with lasting memories of a truly special Himalayan quest.
